Hi Rundurance,

I have the 405cx, but I cannot figure out how to race myself using it. I only figured out how to set the pace to the virtual partner, not to set it to read the data from my previous run. I have the course made, and it can be found on my watch. Can you please explain what you do to race yourself?

I have the 405 at the moment and havent tried out the 405cx yet. I have heard that the wrist strap is much more comfortable and after using my 405 for a good three years now I think it is time for an upgrade!

I have tried running with the new 110 but after using a 405 it is a massive downgrade!

Hi Micah, thanks for sharing your experience.

Yes, the 205 was huge, but 10x series was even worse! Even still, when you think about the fact that these watches are talking with satellites, it doesn’t seem so bad.

I totally agree, I can’t wait to see what the Forerunner 505 will do.

I haven’t tried the Forerunner 405CX, but I do have the Forerunner 405 and it’s AWESOME. I had the 205 and that thing was huge. It was so big you had to take it off anytime you weren’t running because you looked silly. That’s whats great about the 405, it looks like a regular watch.

I’ll take your word for it on the 405CX, it doesn’t look like it adds a lot of value at such a higher price. I can’t wait to see what the 505 has in store for us.
